// Overview

What we do

Fuel problems are among the most common causes of marine breakdowns. Ethanol, water contamination, damaged tanks, faulty fuel-cap seals, venting issues, and old gasoline can prevent an engine from starting or cause poor performance and loss of power.

We inspect, service, and repair the entire fuel system, including tanks, filters, water separators, pumps, and fuel lines. We can test the fuel for water and other contaminants, identify the source of the problem, and safely remove old or contaminated gasoline from the tank when necessary.

We also diagnose and repair marine exhaust systems. Exhaust leaks and restrictions can affect engine performance and create serious safety concerns, so they should never be ignored.

The result is an engine that receives clean fuel, starts reliably, delivers full power, and safely expels exhaust every time you head out on the water.

Fuel System

Clean delivery, reliable starts

We diagnose and service marine fuel systems affected by water, ethanol, debris, and age — tanks, filters, water separators, and injectors or carburetors. Clean fuel delivery is the foundation of easy starting and full, consistent power.

  • Water & ethanol contamination
  • Filter & separator service
  • Tank & sending-unit checks
  • Injector / carburetor service
  • Fuel-pressure testing
  • Reliable-start verification
Pumps & Lines

Pumps & Lines

Pressure where it belongs

Failing fuel pumps and aging lines cause hard starting, power loss, and safety hazards. We test and replace fuel pumps and inspect and renew lines and connections with correct marine-rated components so fuel gets where it needs to, safely.

  • Fuel-pump testing
  • Pump replacement
  • Line & hose inspection
  • Marine-rated components
  • Leak & pressure checks
  • Connection sealing

Marine Exhaust

Performance and safety

Marine exhaust is both a performance and a safety system — leaks can allow water intrusion or dangerous fumes. We inspect and repair exhaust components, risers, and connections so the engine breathes correctly and the system stays safe.

  • Exhaust-system inspection
  • Riser & manifold checks
  • Leak diagnosis & repair
  • Water-intrusion prevention
  • Connection & clamp service
  • Post-repair verification

// Process

How it works

01

Diagnose

We test fuel delivery and inspect the exhaust path to find contamination, restriction, or leaks.

02

Service

Filters, separators, pumps, and lines are serviced or replaced with correct components.

03

Repair

Exhaust leaks and restrictions are repaired to protect performance and safety.

04

Verify

We confirm clean starting, full power, and a leak-free exhaust before handover.

// FAQ

Common questions

Why does ethanol cause marine fuel problems?+
Ethanol attracts water and can break down over time, leading to phase separation, corrosion, and clogged filters and injectors. Regular service, water separators, and stabilizer help protect the system.
My engine starts hard or loses power — is it fuel?+
Often, yes. Water, old fuel, clogged filters, a weak pump, or dirty injectors all cause hard starting and power loss. We test the fuel system to confirm before replacing parts.
Is a small exhaust leak a big deal?+
It can be. Marine exhaust leaks risk water intrusion into the engine and can allow dangerous fumes aboard. We take exhaust integrity seriously and repair leaks promptly.
Should I add a water separator?+
If your boat does not have a good primary fuel/water separator, we usually recommend one — it is inexpensive protection against the most common marine fuel problems.
Can old fuel be saved?+
Sometimes, with treatment and filtration, but heavily degraded or water-contaminated fuel is best removed. We assess the fuel and advise the safest, most economical route.
