Cooling System Diagnostics, Service & Repair

A properly functioning cooling system is essential for engine reliability and performance — especially in Florida heat and traffic. Even a small leak, weak component, or circulation problem can lead to overheating and expensive engine damage.

At Auto Fashion Club, we diagnose, service, and repair cooling systems for European vehicles and all makes and models.

// Overview

What we do

Heat is the enemy of every engine, and Florida heat and traffic put extra stress on the cooling system. Even a single weak component can quietly push engine temperatures into the danger zone.

We inspect the cooling system to find the actual cause of overheating, coolant loss, or temperature problems before replacing parts.

Depending on the issue, we check the radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, cooling fans, coolant condition, and related components.

Cooling System Diagnostics

Find the cause before replacing parts

Overheating doesn’t always mean the radiator is the problem. When appropriate, we use computer diagnostics to check available temperature data, fault codes, sensors, cooling-fan operation, and other system information. We combine diagnostic data with a hands-on inspection of the cooling system to help identify the source of the problem before recommending repairs.

  • Computer diagnostics & fault codes
  • Temperature & sensor data
  • Cooling-fan operation
  • Radiator, hoses & connections inspection
  • Coolant condition check
  • Hands-on system inspection

Radiators & Hoses

Restore proper cooling

A damaged or leaking radiator, worn hose, or failing connection can cause coolant loss and lead to engine overheating — especially in Florida heat and stop-and-go traffic.

We replace radiators, coolant hoses, clamps, and related components as needed using the correct parts and coolant for your vehicle. After service, we refill the system, remove trapped air, and verify coolant circulation and engine operating temperature.

  • Radiator replacement
  • Coolant hose replacement
  • Hose & clamp service
  • Correct-spec coolant
  • Radiator-cap replacement when needed
  • Cooling system refill & air removal
  • Coolant circulation & operating temperature check
Thermostat & Water Pump

Thermostat & Water Pump

Proper temperature & flow

A stuck thermostat or a failing water pump throws off both warm-up and cooling, causing overheating or poor efficiency. We replace these core components, refill with the correct coolant, and verify proper temperature control and circulation across a full heat cycle.

  • Thermostat replacement
  • Water-pump replacement
  • Coolant refill & bleed
  • Timing-service coordination
  • Temperature verification
  • Leak check under pressure

// Process

How it works

01

Inspection

We inspect the cooling system, coolant condition, and related components for visible signs of leaks, wear, or failure.

02

Diagnosis

We use hands-on inspection and computer diagnostics when appropriate to identify the source of overheating, coolant loss, or temperature problems before recommending repairs.

03

Repair

Failed components are replaced as needed using the correct parts and coolant for your vehicle.

04

Verify

After service, we refill the system, remove trapped air, and verify coolant circulation and engine operating temperature.

// FAQ

Common questions

My temperature gauge is climbing — is it urgent?+
Yes. If the engine is overheating, stop driving as soon as it is safe and contact us. Continuing to drive with an overheating engine can cause serious and expensive engine damage.
How often should coolant be changed?+
Coolant service intervals vary by manufacturer, model, and coolant type. We follow the specifications for your vehicle and use the correct coolant when service or repair is needed.
Can you service European and high-performance cooling systems?+
Yes. We service cooling systems on European, high-performance, and other vehicles, selecting the correct parts, coolant, and service procedures for each application.
Why does my car only overheat in traffic?+
Overheating in traffic can be related to cooling-fan operation, airflow, coolant circulation, or other cooling-system problems. We inspect the system and use computer diagnostics when appropriate to identify the cause before recommending repairs.
Is a small coolant leak really a big deal?+
It can be. Even a small leak can gradually lower the coolant level and eventually contribute to overheating. It’s best to identify the source before the problem becomes more serious.
Do I have to pay for diagnostics if I have the repair done with you?+
Cooling-system diagnostics is a paid service. If you proceed with the recommended repair with us, the diagnostic fee may be credited toward the repair. If you choose not to proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee is due in full.
